Before becoming a lawyer, Katie worked in the dental industry. She worked her way up from receptionist to VP of Business Development and Continuing Education.

A nonconformist at heart, Katie pursued her dream of becoming a lawyer despite only having an Associates degree. She worked her way through law school and, always one to go against the grain, welcomed her first child two weeks before finals. She graduated third in her class with a concentration in Family Law and passed the California Bar Exam immediately thereafter.

Katie's entrepreneurial spirit and desire for flexibility led her to open Dettamanti Law, where she offers her clients the flexibility that most lawyers refuse to cater to. Her common-sense and calm approach to often chaotic matters helps resolve issues quickly with ease.
